I’ve heard reports that people who have piled up items they want to keep at thier properties, are having those piles ‘STOLEN” by the “official clean up” volunteers! Sounds to me, like the recycling companies, who lobby the governments who own the refuse facilities operated under taxpayer funded budgets, are hearing cash register sounds in their heads! VULTURES is what they are, and they’ve putirified charity and all it can do to turn a quick buck and scam some rare items from their unwitting owners……all the while asking us all to “dig deeper”!
I wish Gillard would give 20 billion to rebuild Queensland, rather than giving it to a bank to raise awareness of “homelessness” among its workers and shareholders! But nope, 20 million is all she offers, and expects the public to make up the shortfall. But, didn’t we put up the money for the 20 billion dollar gift to westpac and mission australia? GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everyone should read very carefully, the following press release at the link below, and NOTE THE DATE also! Then ask, what should we be spending 20 billion dollars on, and why has Gillard only offered a small percentage of that to rebuild an entire state and its capital?

“The Government has dedicated $20 billion into affordable housing and homelessness across the nation – the largest investment by any Australian government toward this issue in history,” Senator Arbib said.
